TO ENSURE THAT YOUR STAY TAKES PLACE IN SATISFACTORY CONDITIONS , WE WOULD ASK YOU TO KINDLY COMPLY WITH
THESE REGULATIONS.
RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS
Respect for the privacy of every individual is a fundamental value. Individual outings and visits are subject to the prior approval of your attending doctor. Since the Clinic is responsible for you from an administrative standpoint during your stay, outings (accompanied or not) may only take place with the written approval of your doctor, who should be advised with at least 24 hours prior notification. Permission to go out is subject to compliance with times established by you and your doctor. In the event of an excessively late return, the Clinic will be obliged to declare you no longer part of the patients hospitalised.
PERSONAL MEDICINES AND MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS
To ensure that your stay at Montevideo Clinic is beneficial, it is essential that medication prescribed by your home doctor and other medication prescribed during your stay are known and taken regularly. This medicine will be dispensed by your nurse according to a prescription made out by the Montevideo Clinic doctor. Do not keep any medicine with you during your stay. This is always a source of confusion and inappropriate medication. When you arrive, the nurse will check that there is no other medication in your luggage and personal effects that might interfere with medicines prescribed by your doctor. The medication prescribed at Montevideo Clinic will be decided with you. You will not have to ask for it or hide it. All patients at Montevideo Clinic accept the principle of urine and blood tests and medical examinations, notably planned within the framework of substitution treatment. You will be kept informed of the results of these tests and this will help to reinforce your progress.
INVENTORY AND STAY
An inventory will be made of your room when you arrive and leave, as well as a regular inspection for a prolonged stay. The establishment declines any liability for the disappearance of personal effects. It is therefore not advisable to bring valuable items with you.
SMOKING DEPENDENCY

Nicotine substitution treatment (gums/patches) and specific treatment to reduce the desire to smoke can be prescribed at your request after a cardiovascular examination.
